Brand Identity Said to possess “flair” by Ktron fans, the new brand identity rep- resents rigidity within a chaotic environment. The futuresque shades concrete this concept of rigidity amidst the wilderness. DJ Ktron’s comic character is reflected in his new brand identity guar- anteed to stand him apart from his peers.
Brand Identity The goal of this project was to redesign Facebook's core brand truth and remove it from the human need to share and communicate, and direct it towards the a rehabilitative social network. The only restrictions were to refrain from altering Facebook's visual brand Identity while developing copy that will adhere to the rehabilitative brand truth. I'm sure you'll find a couple laughs in this ironic employee brand booklet.
Print The brief for this project required a typographic redesign of Yann Martel’s award winning novel. This cover’s typo- graphic elements forms the pivotal life boat as well as subtly represent characters who have died in the Ocean.
Typography "Excuse me for I am the Ocean" was the bases of my interpretation for this song, being the songwriter trying to manage both a promising future (The stars) as a musician and a distant relationship. The final poster focuses on the metaphoric relationship between the Ocean and the Stars through the use of typography rendered in gold glitter on Handmade paper. This installation poster is also accompanied by a reflective sheet of paper which replicates the effect of water ripples.
Typography/ Animation Revolution, the movement of an object in a circular course around another or about an axis or centre; An unrecognizable change from one state to the another. The theory of human evolution embodies a revolution in which each of the important stages of our evolution has a distinction between the others. My film interpretation of "Revolution" links the process of evolution to the greater infinite cycle found in circular structures; Titled "Revolution as Re-evolution".
Critical Design The overwhelming and inescapable behavior which is consumerist in-fact helps us survive, as product accessibility increases. Quite the contrast to certain countries that require villagers to walk for miles for contaminated water. What's my critical response to it? Looking at colonization and how cultures were assimilated into a "civilized" culture, I using that as a basis for my means to envision and present long lasting change; Rather than fighting consumerism, accept it.
